Over the past few months we have seen a steady decline in the number of new listings hitting the market. Uncertainty in the market as well as fear of COVID-19 has caused many would-be sellers to put a hold on their selling plans. 
   Now it looks like the Atlanta market may be starting to move forward again, as new listings are on the rise for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. 
     Though housing inventory in Atlanta is still very low, this could signal a more significant rise in the overall supply of homes. In that case, sellers will need to be prepared to compete more aggressively with other listings.
